• Willpower is a quality of the 1st. Ray.
• In order to make any constructive change in your life you need to have willpower to start the process and determination to keep going.
• You also need to understand that any change you wish to make, depends on your inner circumstances, ie. your current beliefs , values and attitudes about life, yourself, God and the world in which you live.
• In any situation in which you find yourself, you will see that you cannot often change other people or the physical situation.
• But the one thing that it is in your power to change is your reaction to the situation and to other people.
• So your time is best spent on your own self-improvement, on your own personal spiritual growth so that people can no longer press your buttons.
• We have all experienced events in our lives which have wounded us.
•  We harbour ill feelings towards others because we feel that they have hurt us, upset us, and in some cases , abused us. This causes us to react in negative ways and creates negative karma which limits and restricts our lives.
• So what can you do ? Use your willpower and determine to take responsibility for your own life.
• Stop creating more negative karma , and  deal with your personal psychology —the things that cause negative reactions in you —your expectations, your fears, anger, hatred ,  thoughts of revenge , a sense of injustice, etc.
• Stop repressing your negative emotions and learn to express them in appropriate ways.
• In some cases , therapy may be required ; someone neutral to talk to , so you can express your feelings constructively.
• When dealing with your fears, an understanding is needed that fears are caused by your acceptance of illusions–incorrect beliefs that you hold on to .
• Once you accept this, you can look at each fear and look for the illusion it causes and replace it with the corresponding truth of Christ.
• Start the process of dealing with negative energy that has accumulated over time , in this lifetime and in previous lifetimes.
• Negative energy or karma can be transformed or transmuted through good works and service to life and through the very powerful spiritual technique of the Violet Flame.
• The Violet Flame can be invoked through the power of the spoken word , in the giving of decrees and rosaries.
