Perversions of the Qualities of God.

Power is a quality of the 1st. Ray.
It should never be abusive and should always respect the free will of everyone.
The ego will use two extremes or perversions of power to keep you trapped in its control and prevent you from making spiritual progress.
The ego can use a very strong sense of willpower and strengthen it to control other people, to impose your will on others and thus you no longer respect their free will.
The other extreme is where you have very little will of your own. You do not want to make your own decisions and are quite happy for others to tell you what to do so you don’t have to think for yourself and you allow the ego to convince you that this is acceptable.
To overcome the ego’s control over you, you need to avoid these two extremes and reach for a higher understanding of the correct use of power.

Wisdom is a quality of the 2nd. Ray.
Wisdom is meant to enable you to know what life is all about, who you are, to know when cycles have changed and when it is time to let go of some limitation and move on.
But the ego uses two extremes or perversions of wisdom to trap you at a certain stage on the spiritual path, so you remain stuck and are unable to move forward.
One is to make you think that you already know and understand all you need to know in order to be saved. If you accept this, you become un-teachable and you are no longer open to a higher understanding.
The other extreme is to convince you that it is easier if you just let someone else tell you what to believe. So you may join a Church which has very rigid ideas and rules etc. so you don’t have to think for yourself. This ensures that you keep your mind and heart closed and that you are unwilling to study and understand any spiritual teachings that go outside the mental box of your current Church.
Either way,the ego has control over you.The only way out is to be willing to attain a higher understanding through the study of spiritual teachings, eg. such as those found at www.tsl.org

Love is a quality of God, on the 3rd. Ray.
The ego does not want you to find out that God loves you unconditionally because once you can accept God’s love and allow it to flow through you to others, you will not be drawn into its perversions of love.
The two extremes that you could be drawn into are to allow human love to be possessive and controlling and having no love for yourself which leads to not being able to love anything or anyone.
The answer is to rise above both these extremes and reach for an understanding of the quality of God Love.
The difference between human love and divine love.

Purity is a Quality of God, on the 4^th.Ray.
Perversions of purity are when you judge what you think are pure and impure activities and when you think that nothing really matters, so it doesn’t matter what you do, therefore anything goes.
How can you know what activity is pure and what is not?
You must not base your choice on the illusion of separation but on the truth of the Oneness of all life.
Any activity that just raises up your own separate self, your own ego, is impure.
But an activity that raises up all life ,that benefits all life, is a pure activity.

Truth is a quality of God , on the 5^th. Ray.
Your ego will use the following perversions to turn you away from what is true.
— thinking that there can only be one truth , or only one way to express truth.
—thinking there is only one true religion.
— thinking that all religions are false , because there is nothing that is really true.
To overcome these perversions realise the kingdom of God is within you and you have a personal teacher, your Christ self, who communicates with you through your intuition.
You can therefore know truth from within yourself by connecting to your spiritual self and developing your intuition and inner guidance.

Peace is a quality of God, on the 6^th. Ray.
The ego will use perversions of peace to keep you in never -ending conflict with other people.Because it feeds off negativity, especially fear, it does not want there to be unity or oneness between people.
One perversion is thinking that in order to attain a state of peace, we have to suppress the differences there are between people.
The reality is that in Oneness there is still room for each individual to express their uniqueness, their differences.
As long as we accept each other’s uniqueness and strive to stay in oneness, we can make room for the diversity in life.
There is such diversity because God wanted to express himself through many different expressions, he wanted to Be More, through us.
The other extreme is to think that everything is good, regardless of the appearances.

Freedom is a quality of God, on the 7^th.Ray.
Perversions of freedom are used by the ego to trap you in the sense of separation .
Because you then feel separated from God and all other people ,you think that you can only defend your freedom by destroying your enemies.
Instead, if you had a sense of Oneness with God and everyone else ,you would know that you had no enemies.
The other perversion or extreme the ego will try to get you to accept , is to think that anything goes, that you have free will so you can do whatever you want and get away with it.
The reality is, that you do indeed have free will but you are held accountable for your use of it. You will inevitably, reap whatever you have sown, for it one of God’s spiritual laws for this planet.
