Right Effort .
Right Effort:–
- is one of the points of the Eight-fold path of the Buddha .
- is all about your correct use of energy— using your energy for self-training and self-control.
- needs purity of desire—-ie. do not lust after another, do not be jealous of another or want what they have.
- will always strive to ” end existing evil”; “prevent new evil” ; “cause new virtue” ; “increase existing virtue”.
Each day you are allotted a certain amount of energy. It is up to you to use it wisely so that you always have enough energy to follow your divine plan.
Your effort will always be right when it involves service to others and benefits others and when you are motivated by your care for others.
