Constancy means to be faithful and dependable in personal attachments.

Why do you need constancy ?

At the beginning of the spiritual path there is a need for constancy- -a need to be constant–because you have work to do– the transmutation of your karma. Over the years, and your previous lifetimes you have made negative karma and created habits and momentums which are keeping your energy tied up. And just as it took a long time to create this karma, so it may take a long time to transmute it. It is different for each person. But you need to start now. So you need to build yourself a schedule or routine which allows you to transmute your negative past records.You need constancy. You can use spiritual techniques, such as decrees and rosaries for this process, for this is your work which no one else can do for you.
Constancy does not always mean doing the same thing indefinitely. As you make progress along the spiritual path and maintain a connection to your Higher self, you will be able to receive new directions and you will know when it is time to move on to another aspect of your divine plan. Then at some point you will find that you can begin to discover and follow your sacred labour which is the creative expression, the gift, that you came to give to the world or to specific people.
